Congratulations to Craig Crawford for being appointed as Operations Manager

Redwood Environmental, one of the fastest growing environmental services companies in South Wales, congratulates Craig Crawford for his promotion. Craig has extensive experience in the industry, spending the last 6 years working at Scottish Water, and also working as a Jet-Vac driver and operator previously. He also has a mechanical background, serving as an ex HM Forces soldier in Northern Ireland, the Gulf, Bosnia and many more.

“Craig brings with him a skill set that is almost unparalleled in today’s environmental services sector” says company director, Mark Livingstone. “With his extensive skillset, we believe that Craig will help us to position ourselves as the leading Environmental Services Company in South Wales.”

Redwood Environmental are Rebranding

Environmental Services firm takes on a new, modern brand image to reflect the company’s growth.

Based in Bridgend, South Wales, Redwood Environmental Services is undergoing a major rebranding program.  The company was founded in 2003, and has grown in the last few years to service most of South Wales and the South West.

The company has released a modern new logo with companywide uniforms, and website refresh, that will all work with its growing business model. The company has also re-wrapped all its’ vehicles to reflect its’ new, fresh image.

“We think the new logo represents where the company has been and where the company is going,” said General Manager, Kevin Sadd.

He noted that keeping the company’s name and original colouring demonstrates respect for the founder/previous owners with a refreshing new and modern appearance. The new logo clearly communicates the companies service offering, and the styling is more modern, representing where the company is heading.

Redwood Environmental appoints General Manager

Redwood Environmental Services, one of Wales’ fastest growing environmental services companies, is continuing its expansion

 with the announcement of a key appointment to meet the needs of its’ growing workforce and expanding demand.
Kevin Sadd was appointed as General Manager in May 2021 and has been tasked with introducing new systems and procedures to continue the company’s expansion.

Kevin, who has over 35 years’ experience in the Environmental Services sector, has a successful background in the achievement of profitable business operations. He is particularly skilled at identifying and delivering technical, operational and commercial innovation within multi-discipline service offerings. He has spent the last 3.5 years in the drainage industry as a Safety and Operations Director. Kevin holds IOSH, NEBOSH & First Aid qualifications and is also currently undergoing the WAMITAB qualification.

“Kevin has exceeded all expectations since starting with Redwood,” says company director, Mark Livingstone, “He has really taken the wheel at the Redwood ‘ship’ and is steering it in the right direction”.

Kevin now takes overall charge for the operations and management of Redwood’s business activities and is always on hand to assist clients.

COVID-19 Update

Redwood environmental services continue to offer our full range of services throughout the pandemic and beyond. Our team have undertaken COVID-19 risk assessments and have put into place social distancing and PPE to comply with all legislation to ensure our customers and team are safe.

Redwood environmental services have adopted Citation Atlas for human resources and health and safety management. We are looking forward to using their systems to assist us in providing comprehensive training, Method statements, safe systems of work, and risk assessments to ensure the safety of our customers and team.

Business as usual as Redwood Environmental services is under new management with Robert Hatton retiring and a new family team taking over.
